It’s up to our heroes to get the town back in order before Earth Pony Sunny Maretime Bay Day can begin properly. Will they catch the cake thief in time? And who are they? There are plenty of suspects in Ponyville – let’s hope our heroes can figure out which one it was!
Why This Celebration Needs To Be Saved
Earth Pony Sunny Maretime Bay Day is a very interesting holiday that started in Equestria. The day was marked when Princess Celestia, who was originally going to call it ‘Pinkie Pie Day’, found an old wooden scroll inside her study. She then read it out loud and Earth Pony Sunny Maretime Bay Day was born! Sadly, many ponies have no idea what Earth Pony Sunny Maretime Bay Day really means or why they celebrate it.
The Story Behind The Celebration
Sunny Maretime Bay Day was originally a holiday made by Ponyville ponies for their princess. It fell into disuse when Princess Luna left for Canterlot, but stayed as a minor holiday only celebrated by some ponies. The holiday has been revived in recent years after Pipp won an art contest at Canterlot showcasing her paintings of special days in Equestria’s history.
