What SNB Bills Changes
The mod separates household costs into water and sewer, electricity, trash, cable, internet, cellphone service, and property taxes. Missed payments can bring consequences and interest. SNB Bills works as a standalone mod, so SNBank is not required for basic use.
For a household starting over, that creates more space for decisions about priorities. Rather than treating bills as background noise, you can make managing the home part of the storyline.
Setting Up Home Services
Open Show Bill Information through the phone’s Household menu or the mailbox, then choose Home Services. Pick a preset welcome package or select services yourself. The official setup guide explains how internet, cable, and cellphone subscriptions affect the interactions your Sims can use.
Start with the services that suit the household you are playing. A character who spends most of their day online may have different priorities from a household focused on getting settled in its first home.
Family Support Features
The Government Benefits Portal includes child support, alimony, and Wel-Fund 4 Families. Child support requires an application from the receiving parent in current versions. Alimony also needs an application, made before the divorce moodlet expires.
Wel-Fund helps eligible unmarried households that do not receive child support. Eligibility considers housing costs, employment income, and business ownership. These features offer additional possibilities for family saves, with the creator’s guide explaining the qualifying conditions.
Compatibility & Important Notes
Important: SimRealist warns against using MCCC money settings with SNB Bills. Use the mod’s own settings instead. Bills activates when an installed mod is loaded into a save, so review the setup before playing. Check the creator’s compatibility statement after future game updates.
Back up your save before adding a gameplay mod. Follow the installation information that comes with the current download, and remove duplicate older versions when updating.
