How to Install the Sims 4 CC Folder

After downloading the folder, extract the ZIP file first. Do not place the compressed ZIP directly inside your Mods folder.

Move the extracted .package files and folders into:

Documents → Electronic Arts → The Sims 4 → Mods

Then open The Sims 4 and go to Game Options → Other. Make sure Enable Custom Content and Mods is turned on.

Restart The Sims 4 after enabling custom content.

📁 Keep Your CC Organized

Because this collection contains 2000+ items, I strongly recommend keeping the folders organized instead of moving every package file directly into the main Mods folder.

You can create folders such as Hair, Female Clothing, Kids CC, Toddler CC, Infant CC, Shoes, Accessories, and Jewelry. This makes it much easier to find a specific file later if you want to remove or replace something.

⚠️ Important CC Folder Reminder

The 2000+ item count refers to the complete custom content collection. It does not necessarily mean 2000 completely different designs. Some creator sets contain multiple package files for different versions, accessories, recolors, age conversions, tops, bottoms, or matching pieces.

Some CC may also require an original mesh, Sims 4 pack, or additional creator file. If something appears missing or broken in Create-A-Sim, check the file requirements and remove any duplicate or outdated versions from your Mods folder.
