Looking for free Daylife Sims hair CC for your next Sims 4 makeover? These ten releases bring together Hollywood waves, textured hair, retro styles, shorter options and male/female frame downloads. Several include alternate versions, so you can change how the hair sits or choose between bangs and no bangs while keeping a similar look.
All of the hair below is created by Daylife Sims. I have linked the original Patreon posts so you can choose the correct files, see every preview and check the latest creator notes. The public listings were checked on October 3, 2026. This is a collection of free finds, rather than a list of brand-new releases.
Requirements: All ten releases are listed as base-game compatible, with 24 EA colours and hat compatibility. These are creator-listed details, not personal in-game testing. Read Daylife Sims’ terms of use and keep downloads on the original creator pages.

1. Solita Hairstyle — 2 Versions

Solita is a lovely starting point for a dressed-up Sim, with Hollywood waves and two ways to wear the hair. Choose the front version when you want the hair to frame the outfit, or move it behind the shoulders to show more of the neckline. The public post includes both hair files and separate colour accessories, with 24 EA colours and hat compatibility listed.

Access: Public/free
Requirements: Base game
Details: Hollywood waves with hair in front or behind the shoulders.
2. Melodie Hair — 2 Versions

Melodie gives you two versions of a long wavy hairstyle, so you can choose between bangs and an open forehead without changing the overall hair choice. Dark-root files are also included on the public post. The creator says the mesh was reduced to 34k polygons; keep that detail in mind when choosing CC for your game. Both versions have 24 EA colours and are listed as hat compatible.

Access: Public/free
Requirements: Base game
Details: Long wavy hair, with or without bangs; creator lists 34k polygons.
3. Marjorie Hair

For a mid-length option, Marjorie brings waves to a hairstyle that can become part of several everyday outfits. I would start with a simple top and small accessories, then try a dressier outfit using the same hair. The creator provides the standard hair and a dark-root file, with 24 EA colours, hat compatibility and all LODs listed. Additional colour accessories are linked separately on the original post.

Access: Public/free
Requirements: Base game
Details: Wavy mid-length hairstyle with a separate dark-root file.
4. Goddess Set — Alissa

Alissa is part of Daylife Sims’ textured Goddess set and offers two placements: hair in front, or all of it behind the shoulders. That makes it a useful choice when styling outfits with different necklines and accessories. The creator notes improvements to the final mesh and scalp texture, plus added LODs and thumbnails. Download the final versions from the linked public post, which lists 24 EA colours and hat compatibility.

Access: Public/free
Requirements: Base game
Details: Textured hair with front and back versions.
5. Y2K Hair Set — Ryan

Inspired by Ryan Destiny’s hairstyle, this Y2K release gives you hair-up and hair-down versions in one creator post. I would use the two options to give a Sim some variety between everyday outfits and a dressier look. Both package files are available publicly, and Daylife Sims lists 24 EA colours, hat compatibility and all LODs. Follow the separate colour-accessory link on the post if you want those extras.

Access: Public/free
Requirements: Base game
Details: Ryan Destiny-inspired hairstyle with hair-up and hair-down versions.
6. Heavy Cut Set — Alek

Alek is a handy pick when you want a long hairstyle available for both male and female frames. Daylife Sims provides separate files for each, so choose the version that fits your Sim rather than assuming one package covers everything. The release is listed with new meshes, 24 EA colours, hat compatibility and all LODs. I would use it as a starting point for a relaxed everyday wardrobe.

Access: Public/free
Requirements: Base game
Details: Long hair with separate male and female frame versions.
7. 70s Hair Set — Heavy Bangs

Heavy Bangs brings a retro direction to the roundup with long and short versions of the hairstyle. Its diadem colour accessory is found in Hats, giving you a separate detail to coordinate with the outfit. I would try the hair with a vintage-inspired dress or a casual denim look. Daylife Sims lists 24 EA colours, hat compatibility and all LODs; the public post contains both lengths and the accessory file.

Access: Public/free
Requirements: Base game
Details: Long and short versions, plus a diadem colour accessory in Hats.
8. Queens Hair Set — Elizabeth & Beatrix V2

If you are building an elder Sim’s wardrobe, the Queens set is worth a look. Daylife Sims specifically presents Elizabeth and Beatrix V2 as options for elder Sims, with standard and dark-root files available on the post. I would use the set to give different household members their own hair choices rather than repeating one style. The creator lists 24 EA colours, hat compatibility and all LODs for these meshes.

Requirements: Base game
Details: Two hairstyles suggested by the creator for elder Sims.
9. Mary Hair

Mary adds another choice from the creator’s short-hair collection, with standard and dark-root downloads available together. It is a useful option to compare when you want variety beyond the longer styles in this roundup. Start with the original preview on the creator page to decide whether it suits your Sim. Daylife Sims lists a new mesh, 24 EA colours, hat compatibility, all LODs and a custom thumbnail.

10. PPG x RRB Set — Bubbles & Boomer

This character-inspired release pairs Bubbles and Boomer in one public download post, with separate female and male hair packages. It can be a playful starting point for a themed makeover, or simply another pair of hair options to browse for your household. Both are listed as base-game compatible, with 24 EA colours, hat compatibility and all LODs. These are frame-specific hair files, rather than a child conversion set.
