Let’s talk about the 5 rules that you should follow from the moment you step-out of that Battle Bus, til the moment you hit the ground.
1. Ride on the back of a car or truck. You jump off, loot and then jump back on and go somewhere while the driver is still moving. 2. Always loot in groups. 3. Do not rush to a match. Loot as you move (see #1). 4. Do not start shooting as soon as you land, instead wait a few seconds to see who’s around and then shoot if necessary. 5. ALWAYS find a place to loot and then loot there for 1-2 minutes before moving on.
I think that most of us have at one point or another landed in the toxic zone and have been instantly shot by some sniper from a distance. You go back to the lobby and curse your bad luck, but then you remember that you’ve watched a pro-player land there, stay for about 30 seconds and walk away unscathed. Of course, you start asking yourself – what was he doing? At the very least in 30 seconds he could have looted 50 items…
